Clay Bennett named Oklahoman of the Year by Oklahoma Today magazine

Granted, his competition wasn't exactly stiff. Have you been to Oklahoma? I'm surprised the selection committee could stop having sex with their cousins long enough to pick a winner.

Oklahoma Today editor Louisa McCune-Elmore said that "no one came close" to Bennett when the staff set about selection the Oklahoman of the Year, calling Bennett's fleecing of the Sonics "probably among the most important achievements in our capital city's history."

Seriously, stealing a basketball team and bringing them to your city where they now have a stellar record of 2-24 is "among the most important achievements" in Oklahoma City's history?

Now I just feel bad for them. Being named Oklahoman of the Year is like being named Best Turd.

Just for that, I'm switching my Montana hating ways to the state of Oklahoma. I hope those goat lovers enjoy seeing Florida beat the brains in of Oklahoma.

The man is nothing more that a dick. Nice job Clay. Buying the Sonics with the only motive but to move them. Oh but first, turn them in to a team no one would want to go watch. Nice work Clay. Hope you are cursed and loose all but 10 games a year for the rest of your natural life. Shit head award winner for 2008.
